Do the bsg spoilers make sense? Me trying to do a chronology

After this morning excitement, things have calmed down a bit. I now find some of those spoilers odd.

Chronology of DOOM! My thoughts or analysis...whatever!

(I wrote this a few months ago, let me repost it to see if it makes sense)

408 -Faith-
The cancer-stricken President Laura Roslin and hotheaded pilot Kara Thrace both must make difficult leaps of faith in order to accept an uneasy alliance with the Cylons.

This is the episode where Laura spends the day in Lifestation for her cancer treatment listening to Baltar's talk show and talking to Emily (the other cancer patient) about faith and death.
Caprica Six fights and has sex with someone....(Tigh??)
The mission to the Demetrius still goes on, there's a mutiny against Kara, Gaeta gets shot in the leg, Kara goes to the stranded Cylon baseship and meets the hybrid...will she learn that she is the harbinger of death!  *evil laugh*
Also Seelix is supposed to die in one episode. Which one?

409 - Guess what's coming to dinner-
President Roslin's leadership is tested as the Galactica teams up with Cylon rebels in a plot to destroy the enemy's vital Resurrection Hub.

Laura's leadership tested ... I guess this is when Laura and the marines get to the Cylon basestar/ship seen in the promo vid.
Laura goes to meet the Cylon to discuss a truce but gets captured. Now I would like to know if it is by the rebels (Six, Eight, Leoben) or the other side (Cavil, Doral, Simon + Boomer). It would seem she is with the Rebels and will i the end help them.

In a pic Tigh is seen on the baseship.

Destroy the ressurection hub? I mean why would the Cylon rebels want to do that? Doesn't that mean they would die for real ?

410 Sine qua none-
President Roslin's abduction by the Cylon Hybrid triggers a bitter power struggle within the Colonial fleet

Laura is still abducted and  is onboard the Ressurection Hub or...a basestar?
A powerful scene between Saul and Bill...is it about Laura? Or Saul being a Cylon?
Romo Lampkin is in the episode. I guess he is part of the power struggle going on between Lee, Zarek and maybe Admiral Adama. Laura gone the Fleet is going to be a mess! Zarek would take the role of a temporary President and he might nominate Lee as vice-president.

411 -The hub
In pursuit of the enemy's Resurrection Hub, a misfit team of Viper pilots and Cylon rebels become uneasy collaborators as they formulate a battle plan.

Okay this is where the NEW SPOILERS are supposed to take place but it would make sense if this were to happen in 413!!!
- It deals with an attack on what is described as the "Resurrection Hub" for all the Cylons... without it, no Cylon can resurrect at all, with or without a resurrection ship.
- Roslin and Baltar are in the hands of the rebel Cylons (the Leobens, Sharons, and Sixes), and along with Helo, Seelix, and fellow pilot Pike are in an uneasy alliance with them to destroy the Hub and retrieve D'Anna so that Roslin and the Rebel Cylons can learn the identity of the Final Five in the Fleet.
First, how in hell did Baltar get captured? It's not even mentioned before. What he captured with Roslin? Is he captured in this episode?
Second, this would mean Laura and Baltar and the Cylons are on a basestar. They meet with Kara's mission and team up to destroy the ressurection hub.

- Helo has a LOT of issues to work through in regards to Athena/Sharon, since once she was resurrected over the algae planet, her memories up to that point became Sharon public domain access.
- Roslin gets a FULL confession from Baltar about his part in the Colonial holocaust when she least expects it and is left with a very hard moral decision as a result.
Baltar confessing is a bit shocking. However, Laura facing a dilemma means she has changed because the last time I checked she hated Baltar and would never forgive him for New Caprica. She should be more upset then ever!

- D'Anna is recovered, and immediately gets right back to her head-games and sly manipulating.
- The battle to destroy the Hub is gonna be insane; I can't wait to see it realized on screen.
- Roslin's death is shown in a future-forward
Vision? Does the hybrid show Laura her future? I thought this was supposed to happen in 4x13.
Laura knowing her death in the future would mean she can change future event, make different decisions. I don't know if this is a good thing. If she dies before finding Earth, she is the dying leader. If she dies after, it would mean she isn't the leader if the Prophecy and all that happened to her would not make sense. Who else had visions? Went to Kobol? Is dying?

- Elosha makes a very important appearance as a spiritual guide to Roslin

This is a surprise. If Elosha makes an appearance we could have Billy too.

-Adama pulls Laura into a fierce hug.
ADAMA:Missed you.
LAURA:You too. (then)Love you.

Adama stares at her, too full of emotion to speak. He finally manages, with a grin:
ADAMA:Well, it's about time.
That would mean the Galactica finds the Rebels and Laura!!! (I won't mention the shipper squee caused by the previous lines!)

My old thoughts.
The Galactica collaborate with the Cylon rebels to find the Ressurection hub and Laura Roslin.

New thoughts.
I am really lost as to when the Demetrius and the Galactica meet. Maybe they don't. In the new spoilers it would appear that the Demetrius  meet swith the Rebels and Laura to destroy the hub but also the Galactica seems to have found them and saved Laura.
My theory...these are not 4X11 spoilers but 4x13 (Sometimes is a great notion)... it would make more sense.

412 - Revelations-
A band of rebel Cylons holds President Roslin hostage while attempting to lure the Final Five out of hiding inside the Galactica and the human fleet.

So we learn that kidnapping Laura is a scheme to get the final five out. If we are to read the line carefully the final one must be a civilian or someone not on the Galactica at least... here go my Dee theory put to little pieces. That leaves Tom Zarek or....the people who died.

Kara will find her own body in a crashed ship. She'll then plant some fake dogtags and burn it all. Leoben is also supposedly with her when she "finds herself." Tigh also supposedly is "in the water screaming for Ellen" and Tyrol flashes back to a past life.

New thoughts.
Laura is still hostage to the Cylon? So who is lying? Scifi channel summaries or new spoilers?
If the spoilers are true... Laura would be back to he Galactica unless she stays with the Cylons to complete the plan. This sounds weird!

413- Sometimes is a great notion-
Starbuck learns that the dire predictions of the Cylon Hybrid might be true, and a devastating discovery plunges the fleet into chaos and despair.

Old thoughts
The prediction of the hybrid might be true. That mean the Galactica boards the ressurection hub, right? Do they save Laura? Is Laura still alive? I would like to know. The hybrid told Kara that she will lead the humans to their death. Does she say it earlier or in this episode? Doesn't really matter because this is the mid season parter and we will have to wait god knows along to have answers!
The Fleet finds Earth or...well something.
Three's unboxing and a scene with Laura. Will D'Anna tell Laura who the final five are? !!

The devasting discovery that plunges the Fleet into chaos could be:
-that the planet they found is not Earth
-that Earth was destroyed (hence the pics of the ruins)
-the identity of four of the final five (doesn't fit the "despair"part)
-the death of the President (the worst possibilty)
-something I can't thiink of...

New thoughts.
No mention of Laura or her rescue. Is it because it already happened?

414- The disquiet that follows my soul (airing 2009)

Ron Moore is directing the episode.

Adama seen with blood on his hand and uniform.
This episode is "set deep in the Cylon world, as well as aboard Galactica. 'On Galactica, things have really begun to fall apart ... and the relationship between President Laura Roslin [Mary McDonnell] and Adm. William Adama [Edward James Olmos] is going to get pretty interesting'."

Old thoughts
Hmm, that was written before they started shooting the episode so it might have changed. Still, it would be a total relief to know that Laura is alive!
If the planet they found isn't Earth it means that they have to look somewhere else. If laura still has cancer then the Prophecy is still in place, if not we are rewritting history. The relationship with Adama will get interesting as in... happy that Laura is alive and back in the Fleet -meaning frakking like bunnies? Or Laura is no longer President because of...something and they still frak like bunnies.
More seriously, I wonder if it as to do with leadership of the Fleet or religious believes.
And also what happens to Kara and whose blood is on Adama?
So many questions!

New thoughts.
With the new spoilers and if the are actually about 4x13 (and not 4x11), the relationship between Adama and Roslin would indeed be really interesting now that she admitted loving him!!!

Ok, what do you think?
4x11 spoilers? 4x13 spoilers? or FOILERS?

I prefer to wait to see all but my question is (thinking as a shipper, jejeje)...

If Roslin will say Adama "I love you" in episode 4x09... what the frakk will happen in episode 4x12?? I mean... Ron said that he relationship between President Laura Roslin [Mary McDonnell] and Adm. William Adama [Edward James Olmos] is going to get pretty interesting. Isnt´t it pretty intereseting before that? O_O

Can't wait!! (although I know we have to wait surely till next year ¬¬ )

Yeah exactly. To me it would make sense if those new spoilers were about the mid season finale.

I prefer to wait with caution on this issue. You don't know what spoiler will come tomorrow.

*goes outside sunbathing*

but the rest of spoilers for 4x09 make sense... the battle to destroy the hub, D'anna return... so I guess what happen in 4x12 has to be HUGE!! heeee
LelianaMckay: smittenlelianamckay on May 7th, 2008 01:28 pm (UTC)
Yeah, they make sense but it's a lot going on for one episode! *head spinning*
I agree, if the A/R scene in 4x09 is already quite something, what else can happen in 4x12? A good frak? Oh gosh!!!

Started reading the post, but there were more spoilers and tidbits than my poor brain can handle now. It's still stuck on the L-word thing. I am trying not to read too many spoilers beforehand, but it's going to be frakking awesome and interesting...that's for sure!!
LelianaMckay: so say we alllelianamckay on May 7th, 2008 02:44 pm (UTC)
Sorry about the brain overload!

I can't believe how many spoilers there are already. It's a bit scary because instead of making sense they actually make it more complicated! hehe

Yeah, how people get their hands on those spoilers, beats me! :-) Hahha, the BSG folk always make things more complicated! Maybe RDM is the final cylon frakking with our heads!!! :-P
